Introduction
In Chinese culture, sky lantern can deliver people’s wishes to the heavens. There is a story says that one thousand years ago, when Buddhism reached China from India, people saw Buddhists sharing original teachings to the believers. However, after a few days, the Buddhists were gone. In order to find out the Buddhists, people released the sky lanterns into the sky and hoped that sky lanterns can light up the sky and give directions to the Buddhists. Since then, we have the tradition of releasing sky lanterns.
